The Power's House, St. George
To us, it has always been "that wonderful house on the hill" the new one just before Orchid World. Over the years, we've watched it being built and landscaped, and wondered who lives there. Now we know, and he's agreed to let us in. Open, airy and designed around connected hexagons, this Tony Hoad design has a 180 degree view and a kitchen that might make you salivate.
Directions: From the ABC Highway, turn inland at the Norman Niles roundabout. Shortly ahead, take the left fork for Salters. Pass Chefette on the left and fork to the right, going up past Gun Hill. around Cottage, look for our signs.
Adults - $30 Children (5 - 12 years) - Half Price Children under 5 - FREE.
